What Makes This Area Different

Chesapeake Beach (population around 6,300) is the larger of the two, with a marina, boardwalk, and the Chesapeake Beach Railway Museum. North Beach, smaller and known locally as the “Jewel of the Chesapeake Bay,” is a compact, walkable town built tightly around its own boardwalk and beach.

Getting Around

Both towns sit along MD-260, which connects north to the Anne Arundel County line and Annapolis, and south toward Dunkirk and the rest of Calvert County.
